Fitness journey

Last night I started my weight loss journey. I am 240lbs now, but in 2020 I was 185lbs and more muscular. During the pandemic, I stayed home like a lot of people did. I gained weight and lost muscle. 240lbs isn't very heavy for someone who's six feet tall, but the thing is that it's mostly fat. I have been sitting and laying for too long. Yesterday I was in my sandals, but today I went for a 5.4 mile walk. It was refreshing to have those endorphins run through my veins caused by the exercise and the sunlight! I am tired of being fat, depressed and angry. I want to be fit and happy instead.


Yesterday I walked to and from Starbucks. The total was close to 6 miles. 2.9 miles each way. That was day two of my weight loss journey. 
I've been doing what I can to make smoothies and shakes for my daily meals. I'm choosing to have a full dinner every night, and have liquid meals in the day.
